Fuse Tap

They work great once you get them in. They take a lot to get them into the fuse block but work great once they are in. I broke one fuse trying to install them otherwise it’s a solid tap.

Perfect to add additional gauges!

This clips on the “fused” side of the circuit. To provide power for additional accessories, in my case, a tach, oil pressure, and water temp gauges. Install is simple: Take out fuse, test both sides of circuit with test light. The Side without power is the side that the fuse tap should be on. This means that if there is a short, the fuse will blow cutting power, protecting your car.

Works as expected

The problem with some of the other reviews is that it sounded like they were expecting this product to be magic. You're adding a thin piece of metal on both sides of a glass fuse (that itself is designed to fit tightly). This IS going to be a tight fit. In the end, I broke 2 glass fuses installing this, but fuses are cheap, and this turned out WAY better than cutting/soldering a 50 year old wiring harness.
