Works in limited space

I first tried theGranite Grabbers Dishwasher Mounting Brackets under our marble countertop, but they only held for about a month before coming loose. I was worried I wouldn't be able to mount these side brackets since I didn't have much space on either side of the dishwasher. In fact, these worked perfectly as they only extend about 5/8" beyond the inner face of the dishwasher. I've attached a picture. One star off since it seems a little expensive for two small pieces of metal and three screws and they really should come with the dishwasher. BTW, I think you could actually use the top mount brackets that do come with the dishwasher on the sides if you had enough space.

Moved into a new place that was subject to a number of questionable construction and interior design decisions. At least one of these problems is now solved.

Good factory OEM product but not required for many installs

These are fine- like the fact they are black just in case you see a bit of them. But... I didn't need em. My new dishwasher manual said for side mounting buy this kit. I have stone counters so did what they said but then realized TWO things. First, these are identical to the top mount tabs- only one kind and they are top/side mount. Secondly most counters get installed with a screw strip bridge across the cabinets- so I can use top mount.

They are dishwasher brackets - what can I say? Did the job, arrived quickly. Make sure your dishwasher model works with these and you will be good to go!

Works great...after you figure it out

Maybe it's just me, but this was actually my second purchase of this kit because I broke the first one trying to figure out where to bend it and how much, etc. Once you figure out that it mounts in the BACK of the dishwasher and then BEND it towards the front of the dishwasher, then you are golden. Or at least that's how it worked for me. After a year of the dishwasher sliding in and out, this was a relief

Dishwasher now solid as a rock!

These also work for the top position, which is what I bought them for. They are much heavier duty than the ones that came with the dishwasher as well. We use Fiesta brand dishes, which are very heavy and the dishwasher was always shifting and moving when the rack was pulled out. Changing the factory-supplied brackets out for these reduced the movement significantly.

Good product

It doesn't fit perfectly. I had to bend back the little front tab so it would fit in the slot, but once I did that, it worked great. I would definitely recommend this product. It holds the dishwasher in place exactly as it's supposed to.

Worked perfectly with my newer wirlpool

I purchased a house recently and the whirlpool dishwasher was not attached to the cabinets. I have never fixed anything like this. I have granite counters and had to do research on how to correctly secure the dishwasher. I received the brackets quickly. The install only took 15min with the help of YouTube.

Had the original whirlpool tabs which worked well for top ...

Had the original whirlpool tabs which worked well for top mounting but despite the instructions did not work for side mount. These however did the job and did them well. Make sure your washer is properly levelled before securing it.

These are a lot more solid than the top mounts . Mounting from the sides saves from ruining the under side of your counter top. Wife Happy me so Happy :-)
