Good for restoration

I've been using this product to restore vintage clock dials. It is not a miracle technique, but is the only safe method I've found. Often, it just cleans them maybe 25% but that's enough to make it presentable. Every other method will ruin the dials.

Westcott Dry Cleaning Pad

Was used in drafting to prevent the smearing of graphite on paper. I use it in the same manner for my journalling. I have some journals with blank pages so I pencil in the lines. The pad prevents the smearing from occurring.

Not really sure it works!

I'm not familiar with this product, but read online that it can help clean up minor graphite around drawings among other uses. I tried using it several times on vellum -didn't notice much of a difference, but will continue to inform myself on how to use this product. Other than that great size -easy to use.

Great tool for any artist

This tool is GREAT for removing heavy pencil lines before painting in watercolor. My workshop instructor suggested this; don't know why I didn't think of this before. I'd been using a flattened kneaded eraser previously, but this Westcott Dry Cleaning Pad is bigger and works much more quickly and efficiently.

The bag will work fine. The dimensions are only 4"x 2 1/2. The product description is 6 3/4"x 4"(the size of the plastic zip lock bag it came in).

Great product with multiple uses

I always keep one handy for cleaning suede shoes and other dirt marks on delicate objects
