Blades don't fit handle well

The skinny scraper blade is too narrow for the handle, so most of the skinny blade side cannot be used because the scraper handle is too wide. Nice, solid tool otherwise.

Works great on curved moulding.

The curved blade worked very well on the moulding I was stripping.

Not sharp

I bought this scraper to restore some porch pillars I was salvaging for a job. I bought it because I currently own a Warner 813 scraper with 100x carbide blades. The 813 is far and away the sharpest, most effective scraper I own. THIS scraper is not anywhere near as sharp. I realize that carbide blades are the key to an effective scraper but I wasn't prepared for the drug store quality of the steel-ish blades included in this set. It's classic Big-Lots-Chinese grade tool quality. I like the handle. I attempted to sharpen the blades with limited success. This isn't a professional grade scraper. Buy something else if you need a round scraper. Hyde makes good stuff. Try this instead-Hyde Tools 10400 Molding Scraper with two blades -

What did you do, Warner??? I bought this exact set 6 years ago and only had to replace the blades now, but the replacements aren't sold, just the original set. I went for it anyway since te first set worked so weel. POOR CHOICE. Every blade dulled and chewed up my project within minutes of starting! It was all work on ONE project and I could see the old blades clean work next to the new blades destruction. Hours of work destroyed by a completely inferior tool. Why? What did you change to cut costs and screw your customers over?
