Really cute lots of storage

Really cute lots and of storage - I like that the top and bottom have a zippered deivide so items don't move around as much during travel. My only negative is that I wish the inserts were adjustable. I had plenty of space for all my toiletries but some of my makeup palletes were too big to fit based on the configuration of the inserts.

Great bag but too large for carry on travel

Beautiful, well made bag. Enough structure to stand up on own. Nice compartments although wish I could remove them for more customization. A few of my makeup compacts are too large to fit in the divided spots. Inside is waterproof and easy to wipe down. I have been using it for road trips when space is not an issue but it takes up too much space in my carry on roller bag so unfortunately I’ll keep looking for an additional toiletry bag for all my shorter trips.

Too big for travel, but a little small for my makeup

I originally ordered this to use as a toiletry travel bag, but it's too big for my needs. So, instead I'm using it to store my make up. It's not quite perfect but it is still workable for me. The material is recycled cotton, which isn't as soft as some other products by Vera Bradley. I think it's fine because of the sustainability aspect, but I hope the softness and feel of it improves in future materials. The inside is waterproof, which is great for clean up. I'm glad they're built in dividers even though I'd like them slightly different. I just think it's more sturdy with the built in dividers. It also keeps it's shape despite the contents, which is easy for storage or for putting alongside packing cubes in a suitcase .

I can't use it as intended due to design

This is really a pretty and elegant Vera Bradley bag. I had planned to use this for travel to hang up my make up and toiletries but it's not designed for that unfortunately. If you hang it by the handle, everything will fall out as you unzip it and try to access it. This may work if you have plenty of counter space but we tend to stay in metro hotels/Air BNBs which tend to have small bathrooms. What a disappointment. I am going to have to think a purpose I can use this for, possibly crafting supplies or make up or medications I keep as extras.

Wipeable inside; not great for travel

I got this bag mostly for travel purposes to keep my make up organized. I like a lot about it. 1) separate pockets for longer items like brushes (the top part is even covered with a foldable plastic), a mascara or lip gloss 2) mesh pockets - breathable to avoid moisture collection 3) the compartments are lined with plastic wipeable material - easy to clean 4) compartments are separated by a mesh zipped cover What I don't like is that the mesh cover does not prevent the items from rolling from one compartment to another, so if the bag is flipped (as usually happens during travel), the makeup becomes a huge mess. It is probably great for use at home, but not for travel. Overall, good make up organizer for home use.

Holds structure well

I’m a huge Vera Bradley bag fan from my first diaper bag 24 years ago. I like the functional design and print of this makeup bag but the quality has gone down a little. The material feels slightly stiffer and has a rougher texture than their other cottons. It’s fine, I figure it’s a more sustainable recycled planet friendly material. My issue is the sewing and craftsmanship. There are loose threads everywhere, all over the path of zippers, around the handles. Nothing is ripped but I had to take out my tiny pointed sewing scissors and clip 8-10 areas and really clean up the fray. I don’t expect this from a $75 travel cosmetic bag. Zippers are smooth, love the mesh separating halves. I still recommend the bag if you can pick it up on a sale.

This is not your every day makeup bag.

This is the Vera Bradley makeup bag I never knew I needed! I've owned several, but none like this. When I saw that this one has some different dividers I decided to switch it out with my older bag since I'm headed out of state with the family for a week in a few days. I opened of the bag to start organizing and it's unlike any of my others. To start, this bag it like 3 times as large as the biggest Vera travel makeup bag I've ever owned. It's like a mini makeup suitcase. It even holds shape like a mini, soft-sided piece of luggage. Inside are divided sections that are deep, so there is an abundance of room for many things. If you're familiar with camera bags that have slots for multiple lenses, that's similar to this design. This is the bag you can being everything along in. The hair and the makeup stuff, all in one. No need to bring one for each when you have this. I was able to put my foundations, powders, brushes, eye makeup, hair ties, scrunchies, two hair brushes, nail polish and remover, and so much more all in this. I love it. It's the makeup bag for those who want something bigger and more organized than just a open pouch with a few slots for tiny eyeshadow brushes. So many companies have been using the same design for makeup bags for decades. This one is finally different!

structured sides and internal dividers

This travel organizer is wonderful. It has structured sides and internal dividers so that it holds its shape in your suitcase. The interior compartments are water resistant and can be cleaned with a damp towel. There are pockets for makeup brushes (or toothbrushes) that includes a plastic flap to protect the rest of your toiletries from the makeup or toothpaste that might otherwise be spread around the bag. Also includes a mesh cover for the bottom compartments so that they do not spill into each other. It is a great help in my packing cube system when I travel.
