A brand I know

I’m don’t know why the Tripp Lite products were buried when I searched for surge protectors. I had to put “Tripp Lite” in my search to find them. I prefer to buy a brand I know when sensitive electronics are involved. This is the lowest cost, simplest one as that is all I needed.

Warranty is a joke!

Tripp Lite is a quality surge suppressor with UL approval, but their lifetime insurance is a joke. I called the company and was told their insurance is reviewed on a case by case situation and they rarely approve large claims.

Have been using Tripp Lite for about a decade and has never let me down. Will continue buying there products and this item getting it done.

Its Fine.

Bought this power strip because I have had great experiences with Tripp Lite in the past, but this did not live up to expectations. Its fine. It gets the job done. I should have known given the low price but this is likely just a random oem power strip with tripp lite branding. None of their typical quality shines through. The plastic feels very cheap and brittle. While it holds onto things plugged into it well enough, the power strip's plug is very cheap. It is incredibly loose, wiggling its way out of any outlet I put it in with impressive speed. Instead of being made of solid metal, the plug is made of extremely thin metal that is bent over itself. Seems to me this will break very quickly.

This should be your default power strip

Tripp Lite is just THE brand to go for when it comes to surge protection and power strips, it’s usually on the top position in all professional reviews. Any device I care remotely about will be connected to one of these or Tripp Lite’s smaller wall plug.
