Gives texture, but not my favorite.

This product is okay. I'm not sure it does everything it purports to do on the bottle. It definitely gives texture and maybe some grip, but I haven't noticed stronger hair since using it. Note that the texture is on the messy, very tousled side, at least for my fine wavy hair, so make sure that's what you are looking for. It's hard to get this product evenly on the hair. It sprays a jet rather than actually misting. I'd be curious to try some poured into a different bottle. Note that I have hair that is: fine, wavy (ringlet type waves), and dense (lots of it). If you have a different hair type, you might have a totally different experience, so I'd suggest reading reviews to find ones by people with similar hair and basing your purchase choice on that.

Texture mist

I find spraying this in my hand and then applying it to my hair works best. It is more sticky than I expected, but it works good for beachy waves. I will say that my hair is more tangly after using, but for certain hairstyles it is fine.

Annoying Smell but the product works well

I like how it perfectly works for my thin, fine hair and has a matte finish. It's a bit sticky on my hands, but it's a matter of quick wash; however, more importantly, it serves my hair fine. After using the mist (not technically a mist, I'd call it a spray; thus, I have to spray it in my hands and apply it to my hair), it feels like some extra hair volume and increased grip. One thing I didn't like about the product was the smell. Maybe it's just me, as my nose is a bit sensitive. Except that, it works quite well, thus I'd recommend the product.

Economical alternative to my usual beach spray

I've been using Beauty By Earth sea salt spray for a while now... it's enough to enhance my short hair but not enough to give me a Something About Mary look. However, it's a bit expensive, and I wanted to try something similar on the more economical side. Considering the other sea salt spray is $23 for six ounces, getting 16 ounces for $16 sounded pretty good. Using the product for a couple of days, I find it works about the same, and has a hard-to-describe but more pleasant fragrance (maybe a touch of citrus to counter the salt?). The quality seems just as good as my other product, the bottles are larger, and the cost per ounce is much lower. So what's not to like? I suspect these two bottles of TRESemme texture mist will last me into the summer, but I'm very likely to reorder it rather than the other product if it keeps working as well as it has so far.

Definitely gives texture

I got this for my granddaughter who has flat thin hair to help give her some oomph to her hair when we curl it since it seems like her hair will fall flat in no time no matter what we do. This works pretty well for giving her the volume and texture she desires and lasts most of the day. It's not perfect, but it definitely helps.

Seems to work and smells all right, but reminds me of Aquanet with the harsh chemicals. I guess you would need to be a particular age to know what that stuff was like it was pretty popular should you use it may be not but a lot did this may be true about this product also.
