Does The Job

Bought this to put up Christmas lights (on previously installed hooks) so hubs wont need to climb a ladder any more. Works perfectly for this purpose, though we don't require a super high reach. The bottom lock didn't hold on the first try, hopefully it was because I just didn't get it tightened enough. Will see when we use it again to take the lights back down. But so far, very pleased with this affordable tool. Definitely made the job quicker and easier. And a lot safer.

Good for the money

I use my Trac Outdoors Crooked Creek Telescoping Boat Hook to retrieve the robotic pool floor cleaner from my inground swimming pool. The hook has a perfect shape for securely grabbing one of the cleaner handles and the length is ideal for retrieval from the water 5 feet deep or shallower. Filled with water, the cleaner is heavy but the Trac Outdoors Hook manages the weight just fine. My only complaint is minor: I constantly must retighten the sectional locks, which tend to loosen during use.

Best Hook on the market.

For the price that you’re paying for this hook, you are getting one hell of a deal for a great product. This hug is sturdy, but light and the locking mechanism works fantastically.

Fell Apart

Fell apart when the wife was trying to grab and hold the dock this weekend. Wish the locking device was better when extended out.
