Works well, and looks good

It was frustrating that our gate would not stay in place. I didn't want to have to permanantly install something like these on the doorway of our newly remodeled home, but we are all so glad we did. They are not intrusive to look at when the gate is not in, and they were exactly what we needed for the the whole gate system to work. So thankful for these, so I bought a second set for another gate in another part of the home.

Quality control is non-existant

First off this gate is pretty nice for what your paying for and id probably buy it again. All these stupid problems you see people posting about how the latch is busted or the bottom latch wont open but the top does so the door is stuck? Yeah those are all true. Install took about 3 minutes literally. People who cant get the extension pieces to line up probably need help lifting the toilet seat. Once you get it installed and go to use the gate and it wont open look at the bottom latch its probably stuck there. So now you have to take it back down, Tape up the bottom latch on the top lock and then reinstall it. All in all your 10 minutes in and you have a nice gate. There is a pin on the very bottom that locks the door in nicely but when you go to open the door its just a cluster. You might want to tape that one up as well or just lift on the gate when you open even then it takes some force but not too bad. I gave it 3 stars because the issues i had with it are all known issues that should have been fixed by now but they are just ignoring everyone which is typical of manufacturers like this so i just give an honest review.... 3 stars it is would i buy it again? More than likely yes. Price needs to come down to about $69.99 then it would be worth every penny broken lock or not.

These are great. I only gave four stars because they are a lot thicker than I gathered from the pictures. I was still able to make them work.

Great buy.

I bought several different kinds of the gate wall guards. These by far were the best design. These are ones solid piece that dosen't flex while the other brand is 2 pieces snapped together that flex. The flex allows the gate to move and I have to keep tightening the gate. I will be replacing the other ones I bought with these.

These are pretty good gate stoppers but there were no screws with them. I had to purchase screws.
