Low profile, heavy so it holds in place.

Perfect fit in my center console between seats and the length of the helm. Excellent for the pounding you get standing at the helm for both the helmsman and the 1st mate. I looked a long time and found Amazon had the best price. Other places were up to $70 bucks for this exact mat.

Great on a bumpy boat

I have a shallow relatively flat bottom fishing boat which becomes quite bumpy in waves from a stiff breeze. Standing on this mat seems to greatly reduce the strain on the joints

Don't buy this mat!

Do not buy this mat. It has a sticky residue that adheres to the soles of your shoes and leaves tread marks all over the boat deck. The residue picks up dirt and I have scrubbed the deck with 3 different cleaners to little avail.
