The best bilge pump sensor yet!

For years I used the Water-Witch sensor on my main bilge pump - still works perfectly. But when installed now a secondary/backup pump, found this little one to be the absolutely best out there. It has a better reliable technology, more compact and with more options to mount. Only two wires, so way more straightforward and simple to install and control. Also priced better. Highly recommended!

High hopes disappointing results

This looked like a fantastic solution, unfortunately it didn’t work as well as I’d hoped. Installed this switch less than a year ago and it has already failed. It occasionally failed to shut off the pump and It requires a magnetic breaker instead of a fuse, which further increases the cost of installation. Very disappointing for what I thought was a premium brand.

Good for 1 year

You have to change this switch every year as it breaks down like a Swiss clock every year. Keep a spare handy not to ruin your boat trip.

Water level switch that doesn't have moving parts.

Don't use if u have residue in the bilge

Works fine as long as bilge water is clean. Mine has some residuevfrom past oil and deisel spills. The residue sticks to the switch and provides the required electrical connectivity and the switch never shuts off. Tried cleaning it repeatedly and as soon as the residue returns, the switch stays on. Look for a mechanical switch instead

Good so far

Functions as promised, I think it should be pretty durable and reliable but have only had it hooked up for a week so holding off on 5 stars. Arrived quickly, good price.

Works really well and reasonable cost but stops after six months

Bad idea...

When the housing gets dirty it gets wet also the pump is ON till the motor burns. I do not recommend electronic sensor switches any more...
