Good to buy

For the value, I think it is good to buy. However, it is not flexible like other wire brands. They use a different type of material to cover the core. By the way, although the wire looks thick but I think it is 18 gauge, not 16 gauge. Compared to 18 gauge, they are same size.

Good price, thick insulation.

I ran this for low voltage lighting on my deck. Worked fine with the exception of insulation that is super thick. Running in parallel, I had small compartments of 1-1/8" holes bored into posts to hide wire connections. 3 wires per connection, in, out, and the light fixtures lead. The insulation was so thick it would not fit in a 16 ga wire nut. Larger nuts wouldn't fit in my compartments. I had to use crimp on nuts. Not a huge deal, all worked out.

Good quality low voltage wire

I purchased this to wire 12 in ground LEON 3 watt well lights. The wire was easy to use and it has lasted through 6 months of Florida rainy season without a failure. I also purchased waterproof wire nuts. This is the second set of landscape lights that I have installed myself and I recommend purchasing separate quality waterproof connectors. The connectors that typically come with landscape lights are not very durable.

Best price point for landscape wire

It's wire - what more can I really say? It was the best deal on landscape wire for our path light project. It worked great, and should hold up alright since it looks just like the wire we've had buried in the back yard for 20 years from another project.

Worked fine, hard to tell pos from neg

I was short some wire on my low voltage light project so I bought this brand because I didn't need very much to finish. It is flexible and the connectors pierce the wire insulation with no problems. The only reason I would not buy it again is you cannot tell the difference between the strands. There is no line or print on it, only a ribbed outer edge. The problem is when you split the wire to make your connections there is another ribbed edge where the wires are molded together. I'm sure in bright light it's easy to tell the difference, but when will you be making connections in a well lit area. It's extremely difficult to tell which wire is pos or neg depending on how you have it connected. In the future I would make sure to buy something that is easily recognizable.

Saved the Day!! Needed wire. It's Wire.

Ive used wire that sucked. This wire doesn't suck. It's wire. It works. I like it. Wooptie doo. Ok, more info. Wire that sucks is either too rigid, or splits poorly, exposing the copper inside on one side or the other when seperated (pulled apart)...as I referenced happening on the leads of some cheap fixtures I reviewed earlier. This wire seems good.

Perfect for a possibly unusual job

We have a shore well where the water level rises and falls with the lake water level. In the winter it is quite low meaning that the well recovery time before we next draw a lot of water (laundry, toilet flush, etc.) can be long enough that we can temporarily run out of water! To help avoid this, I installed a water level sensor in the well and used this cable to connect it to a display gauge in the house. The cable fished through with ease due to its just right stiffness and smooth insulating jacket. Everything went perfectly! Very happy. Recommended product.

Good quality 16/2 landscape wires...

Not much more to say. Excellent for providing extended direct burial landscape lighting runs. Will hold up as long as wire is not exposed to animals, extreme wear and tear, etc. Bury 2 inches underground, seal all junctions / connections with self-fusing silicone tape, and do not expose the wire to animals or other potential sources of damage, and this wiring will last indefinitely. Good value.
