Avg lights

They are good for the price I paid, avg output of light for them being on the smaller side. So far all of them are working but it's only been about a week. Time will tell, if they last the summer I'll be happy.

Easy to set up and use

On initial use, performance was irregular. Not all the lamps lit up and lighting was short in duration. However, after a few days exposure to the sun, all the lamps lit up and lasted longer. Hope with more sun exposure and the batteries are fully charged, performance will get better as well.

Perfect, but only 3 hours of hight

I purchased two sets (16 lights). Using them to light the entry to a driveway, just to accent the edge. The brightness and device itself is perfect, but after a full day of sunlight, the longest lasting out of the 16 lights is about 3.5 hours. The product description indicates 8 hours with a full charge, but assuming the charge comes from daylight, this doesn't seem realistic for normal daily usage.

Well, it does the job

They are not as bright as the pictures show. The light is a yellow light which is OK. I figured with the larger solar cell they would light more hours or be brighter. I think they burn a little longer. You know they will not make it through the night especially in winter. Which is fine, we sleep then anyway. I put ours on poles so we can see them better. We have a long winding drive up a mountain side through the woods. You don't want to drive off it at night. The material is pretty weak plastic. I bought cheap lights and they are adequate. Good enough that I bought a second set. I wish I could find brighter ones.

Now I know why these lights faded over time...

Here is the dirty little truth about most all of these "solar pathway lights". They're all actually AA battery powered! The panel at the top only is there for sensing the ambient light to know when to turn on or off. My experience with these lights, they went dim after about 8 months. Once I changed the AA batteries, they were back in action!

Cute lights, but some do not turn on at night

Easy to assemble and lights are bright when they work. However, 2 lights in the package no longer turn on even after being fully charged during the day. I’ve only had these lights for about a month, and 2 of them did not work starting on the 3rd night.

Good value.

Easy to install, takes no time. Being able to remove the top and leave the base in the ground makes it easy to cut the grass - lawnmower passes right over. Enough to light up a walkway at night, and in my case, line the sides of my driveway. Turn on soon as it gets dark and work till sunrise. Been using them about 2 weeks now.
