User friendly

Easy to install, however the output voltage labeled on the unit is different then actual, bought wrong remote heads. Other then that, I highly recommend.

Not bad but…

Once you get over a few issues it is an adequate exit light. Electrical leads are a bit short so ceiling installation is almost impossible without connecting wires within the fixture. Ground wire connection is not a standard thread size. Required drilling/tapping to make it work. Battery is not connected to circuit board so lights do not work. That is fine as a shipping precaution but they make no mention of it in installation material. You find it out after light is installed and tested. Again, an uninspired product-just average at best.

Works well...with the 'right' remote LED

I purchased the 'recommended remote, but that was a 3.6v...output to remote from this device is 9.6v. I found this remote "LED ENERGY PLUS Remote Outdoor Emergency Light Head – Single Head LED Lamp, Weatherproof Emergency Exit Lighting – 3.6V OR 9.6V Volts, 1.7 Watts" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YQ5Q7WP/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and all worked well. This remote also fit our commercial box perfectly, no adapter plate needed.

The remote feature does not work.

Product is cheap and inferior. Do not buy it does not work remote emergency lights. Called customer service and they are no help. Unfortunately I found this out after the return period

WRONG Spec. The OUTPUT voltage is 9.6 DC

wrong information on the device it is labeled that the output voltage is 3.6 volts DC. IT IS 9.6 volts DC when a 3.6 volt remote head is connected, the over voltage damaged the remote head, now the remote head is destroyed. and you can not return because it was installed wrong.

doent power remote heads

Remote capabilitiy didn't work as others have stated.. do not buy if you plan on using remote heads

Not remote capable

Installed 6 of these exits. They did not work with a remote head outside the door. Bought 6 more remote heads of different brand and they still didn’t work. Replaced the exit signs and both brands of remote heads worked. These exits were the problem.
