I have used sharkbite fittings before..they work great. Just make sure you clean off the copper pipe before you use these..work great with PEX tubing..

I Love Sharkbite!

I bought this elbow as the start of the water line that I ran out to my paddocks. I bought a standard T. There were two choices to secure the Pex pipe to the T. Research showed the clamps to be the better choice. BUT, they required a special tool that I didn't want to buy. I managed to squeeze them using a variety of tools. I needed another T because I decided to add a 3rd hose bib. This time I bought the Sharkbite T https://amzn.to/31xsOH4 . I love this so much more. No special tools needed. In fact, no tools needed at all, provided that you cut a nice even end on the Pex pipes. Just push it in... firmly. You're done. It's worth the extra money.

Perfect for my rv water heater

Exactly what I need for the output of my rv water heater. All of the pvc fittings I would try started to leak over time when they would get hot and expand. This one solved my problem. It saved me from replacing the water heater due to the previous owners poor mechanical skills.
