There is a lot of discussion regarding the actual size of theses sleeves/ferrules and what size pipe they fit. To be clear, the size in the sleeve description is the size of the I.D. (inside diameter) of the sleeve, NOT the size pipe that it fits. For example: the 3/4' sleeve does NOT fit 3/4" copper pipe, as the O.D. of 3/4" copper pipe is 7/8"; so, one would need a 7/8" sleeve for 3/4" copper pipe.

just what i needed...

Shark bites are the new rage, but for my money the compression fittings are the way to go. I had a compression cut off valve for 3/4" copper and needed new sleeves. I think these sleeve are also know as ferrule. If you are in need of replacement sleeves/ferrules look no further.

Why would I think a product labeled 3/4" would fit a 3/4" pipe, silly me.

This 3/4" product does not fit a 3/4" copper plumbing pipe, you know it's specific purpose in life. Now I have no hot water, thanks!

Thought it was for a 3/4 copper tubing but it wasn't was too small for 3/4 inch copper tubing and too big for 1/2 inch copper tubing.
