It needs some improvement

I modified as the photo attached. I glued on one ring in the inner circle to avoid the urine goes to the gape between raised toilet seat and the toilet. It is essential.

Just make sure somehow you get better imagination if it’s height since what I calculated and expected came wrong. I couldn’t use it due to being too high

It is not unattractive like those ones that go on top of the toilet ...

This seat is just the right height for a person who needs assistance from rising off a standard height toilet seat. It is not unattractive like those ones that go on top of the toilet like a chair. We have a grab bar on the wall, so there was no need to get that unattractive chair type seat. We've even had guests that were not handicapped use this and mention that they preferred this height. The wondered why toilets are made so "low". So if you are a non-handicapped person who thinks they might like a taller seat, this would do the job nicely. Commode topper

Looks good but not as stable and make sure to save your original toilet seat as this will be hard to sit on without a seat on top. I wish I would of gotten the old fashioned toilet topper / seat

Helped my Mother

My mother had balance and mobility issues. This raised seat allowed her dignity to self care in toileting. It came with all necessary hardware. So grateful I found this on Amazon. I could not find it in any stores near me. It really helped her. She was thankful to have it and it holds a bigger person, no problem. You have to install it to match up with the toilet opening. So pay attention, and clean it after each use.
