Excellent tool for field archaeologists. But caution, need to master how to open.

Excellent tool for the field archaeologist or any outdoor tech. Made of durable material that won't rust due to dynamic outdoor conditions. Simple and clear 10ths scale markings with inche/ft scale on the other side. These types of rulers take a little time to master how to quickly open and close throughout your field expeditions. Do not grab and pull to the sides when unfolding, because the joints will progressively become lose and/or pop out. Think Rubiks Cube twisting to unfold this ruler.

I do sewer and water for a living and it’s always continuously getting wet and muddy had it for 2 years now still holding up great!! Also like how the numbers don’t wear off like the wood rulers!!! Great product will be buying another one when needed

Appears to be tougher than a Lufkin rugged.

Been using Lufkin rugged rulers for 20 years and this Rhino seems like it is going to be better at resisting breaking. Definitely snug and precise indexed stops. Happy with the performance.

This is a Terrific Ruler

As a member of Skywarn, I use this ruler to take snow depth measurements to .1" accuracy for the National Weather Service. It's not the easiest thing to find a ruler with tenth inch increments like this and as far as I can tell, it has no metal parts. (No worry about rust.) It's easy to read and so far appears to be a good quality product.

Engineering Scale is not quite what I expected.

The build quality is nice and the stiffness is just nice to me. Hopefully it won't loosen too much over time. The 55125 Engineering Scale however is not quite what I had expected. When the description says :"Model 55125 has Tenths/Hundreths/Feet on the front and Inches/Feet on the back". I was expecting it to have Tenths and Hundreths of an Inch rather than a Foot! Will be interesting to find out which line of engineering measures in tenths and hundreths of a foot though.
