Smells very strong

This yoga mat has a very strong smell that won't let you do your workout peacefully. The smell is so strong that sometimes it causes headache.

The light color shows dirt easily. Easily clean off with wipe or wet rag though.

Ethylene Oxide Presence & More

Though it's not listed in the advertisement, the packaging lets consumers know that this yoga mat is made with ethylene oxide, a chemical known to the State of California (and perhaps soon the United States) as a carcinogen, or cause for cancer. I researched this chemical and others, looked at other yoga mats, and contacted customer service. The representative let me know that the chemical is only used in the filling and that the product is "safe for my health." If that status changes, they'll definitely hear about it from me. It was alarming initially to think a yoga mat designed to improve my health could simultaneously damage it! I hope their statement gives others like me some peace of mind. It is made with TPE and built to last; if you're looking for more environmentally friendly yoga mats and have a larger budget, the ones made of cork and different kinds of cloth seem excellent. The company Retrospec seems to be relatively eco-friendly, but I'd be interested in learning more about them (how much workers are paid, how safe working conditions are, etc). I hope to be able to use this yoga mat a long time. I'm happy with the color (periwinkle), thickness, length, and pattern design on each side. It looks like it will be easy to clean. Mine did not come with a strap. Hope this feedback is helpful for you as you shop!

Light and easy to carry

The mat is very light and portable, it’s also easy to store. I’m using mine at home but it’s great for taking to exercise classes because it’s so easy to carry. Very pleased.

Sliding, stretching and feels thin during yoga

I’ve been using this for a few months now and liked that it was lightweight but I’d rather spend the money on a heavier mat. As a mat for general working out, light weights and resistance, it’s fine. For yoga though my hands and feet slide, the mat itself stretches if I’m in downward dog and it has trouble laying flat if you store it rolled. I’m on hardwood floors and I sometimes feel the floor through it and have had my knee crack like that. The light grey is becoming discolored in the high traffic areas which never happened on other mats. Honestly I miss my old mat.

Durable mat for outdoor workouts

This is a great durable mat. Thick enough to provide some cushion and strong enough for my runners not to tear it. It works well for outdoor condition workouts.

Overall great but no strap when delivered

The mat is great. Non-slip feature is better than the other mats I have. However, it did not come with the strap. I don't mind but somehow expect for what’s advertised.
