Some of the leaves would not stay on the stick but you get a lot in the bag so I had plenty I could use. About 10 I threw out.

Excellent for pranks

I don't know how they function as intended but I do know how to use them: as a cause of mass annoyance. My boyfriend works at a summer camp and this year said he didn't want to have ducks at the camp to take care of due to the issues they caused. So instead I conspired with one of his staff members to hide these little guys all over his area and cabin. 2 packages and they still haven't gone through all of them, and he just finds more every day. Perfect for when you want to prank someone but do it in a more biodegradable way.
