Fun but kind of minimal

I gifted this to my 8 year old daughter for Christmas since she's kind of into secrets and spy stuff lately. At some point she tore through the whole kit without me even knowing. When I asked about it, my wife said "I think it's all gone". The book is small and you can go through it and the fingerprinting stuff really quick and then are just kind of done with it. You can continue to use the invisible ink pen on other paper for a while, but after a day all we really had left was the magnifying glass and caution tape, which isn't super fun or useful. I can't really say this is a bad kit - it has a good theme, it's girl-focused without being a pink explosion, it's at least marginally a STEM toy, and the price is low. I just think because of the limited consumables it's not something with a lot of staying power that your kid will treasure or spend a lot of time with, which is too bad.

My 7 year old grandson went crazy over this item. He loved the crime scene tape. I had to hide the magnifying glass from the adults. Great fun all around.

This was a hit. Even a 10 year old had fun , if your kid is imaginative they can dream of all kinds of scenarios. More scientific kid will stick to the facts . Over all cute .

Tardo 13 dias en llegar y lo enviaron por fedex! llego super maltratado el paquete. Horrible envio

Tardo 13 dias en llegar y llego el paquwtw sin ninguna proteccion, al abrirlo toda el paquete maltratado y roto de la vaja lo de adentro no esta roto. Pero era para ser regalo de santa !!!y puea asi no lo podemos poner ???? tendremos que darlo de Navidad. La verdad es una pena que no tengan cuidado en un detalle como la proteccion del envio, no lo devolvemos porque ya no llegaria a tiempo y lo de adentro esta bien y mi hija esta ilusionada con esto. Pero sino si lo hubieramos devuelto. ????

El producto llegó antes de lo indicado, por Fedex, con casi ninguna proteccion,por lo cual, en mi caso llego la caja dañada y abierta, afortunadamente parece estar completo.
