Squirrels can’t get to the seed!

It is so cute ., well made and holds more seed than it looks like!

Nice Quality

Although this bird feeder is nice quality, we returned it to find something larger. The seed container is only 4" on each side. We didn't pick up on that as the description includes the perches. There are only two perches.

Loved by the birds!

I love this feeder! And the birds love it too! The first morning it was put outside, we had numerous birds of various kinds! The pesky squirrels have tried to feed from it, but it is difficult as the feeder is up on a pole. And, the feeder held up under our ice storm!

Adjustable perches.

Pushing the perches all the way to the center of the feeder allows hovering feeders, such as finches, access, while discouraging larger 'bully' birds.

Very cute

Bought this as a gift. It works really well and the design is fun. The birds are finally getting to use it when the squirrels aren’t around. Btw, the squirrels always find a way. You can rig some stuff up to keep them away but we don’t want to detract from the beauty of the unit so we let the squirrels feast. It’s so common I know call squirrels “birds” whereas actual birds are now referred to as “real bird”.

Disappointed

Very disappointed with this feeder. When it rains, as it frequently does in the U.K., the seed that has fallen into the tray gets wet and I don’t know if my sparrows are spoilt but once the seed has been wet, the little blighters won’t eat it! Maybe if the ‘roof’ part extended further this wouldn’t happen but regrettably I cannot recommend this product which is a shame as it actually looks very nice.

Beautiful and the birds love it

This thing looks absolutely great and feels very solid. I loaded it up about 3/4 of the way and the birds are absolutely in love with it. I have other feeders in the garden and none of them get as much attention as this one. It holds a lot of seed meaning you don't have to refill it too often. Although the instructions say to wash it out with warm soapy water every 2 weeks. I can't imagine any location where the birds would get through that many seeds in two weeks. Unless you remove the seeds temporarily, clean and dry it and then put the seeds back in. I looked out the other day and even spotted a pigeon taking a look at it!

Still searching for a decent bird feeder ...

On the plus side this feeder looks really nice in the garden, hanging from my feeding station. I get sparrows, Blue Tits and Great Tits using it. It's also very easy to fill. On the downside, seed is very easily spilt as its used. Robins find it a bit too tricky to land on which is a shame, whilst the local parakeets and pigeons (who are in ample supply in my area) can't manage to stay on the perch to feed, they do manage to temporarily land, flap and spill seed which they (or their friends) then pick off the ground, getting through lots of seed. ... so I'm still looking for a decent bird feeder for smaller birds that I'd like to encourage to my garden ...

... in the rain and l think it should be easy to clean

I am hoping that the design of this bird feeder will help keep the seed dry in the rain and l think it should be easy to clean. However after 6 weeks the birds are not coming near it no matter what feed l put in, l am wondering if the sides of it are reflective and putting the birds off. Unfortunately l have thrown away the box it came so cannot return it

This bird feeder is the best so far. Very easy to use and is a beautiful design. The birds also love it.
