1/2 inch thin

This will fit Ruff Land large kennel pretty well. The thickness is not 1 inch. 1/2 inch mat inside 1 inch shell. Made my mud river, so quality is OK. The sole purpose of this mat to get the dog to the filed with some comfort. This is not designed for permanent sleeping quarters. extra padding that is advertised would have been nice.

Not bad but won't buy again

I got the larger size and it's still too small for my 60 pound lobby. It is not 100% waterproof, it will hold water but does wipe off. She doesn't seem to care for it herself either. Do not recommend for the hunters out there. I'd check others first!
