Installed on Remington

I installed this chain on my old Remington LNT-2 electric pole saw before taking on a 6 to 7 inch branch on a SaltCedar (Hard Wood) that had to come off. The original chain just got to the point that it would bounce instead of cutting. The saw went through the limb at full extension of the pole at about 15 feet like butter. These are great chains even though the price has skyrocketed between the time I bought 2 for $9.00 6 months ago, now you can't even get one for that price. Detached pole, and finished up with about 50 or 60 more cuts with same result. Glad I got 2 when I did.

Bait & switch by seller???

Although compatible, the product recieved is NOT the same part number ordered. Please note the "G" as last letter of part number in the descirption and product pictures. The part number on the item sent to me lacks the "G" suffix. I could have saved a couple bucks ordering the similar item, but purposely selected the more expensive item based on the description "Oregon 91PX040G 40 Drive Link Chamfer Chisel Xtra Guard 3/8-Inch Pitch Low Kickback Saw Chain." The reason for seeking 91PX040G is the manufacturer's recommendation and the purpose of use, which is cutting at full-entension for which the -G version performs better with less fatigue to the user. This negative feedback is intended for the seller. Either there was a lack of due care in fulfillment, or outright substitution!
