Likes: It's fun and innovative. Our three-year-old grand daughter had a lot of fun playing with the car and track. Creativity and imagination were sparked :) Caution: The car and its movements are fascinating to our grand daughter. She really enjoys picking it up, watching the lights flash and the wheels turn, and exploring the battery cover. She also has long flowing hair. She picked the car up and turned it over, the spinning wheel grabbed hair and wrapped it up tight. With some effort we were able to pull her hair out of the wheel, with minimal loss - the first time. We cautioned her to keep it away from her hair, and within moments, she found her hair caught again. The second extraction kept a few hairs as if claiming victory! Looking at grandma I suggested a hair-tie, and viola! no more hair was sacrificed. The car is a good size for smaller hands, and survived quite a few forays around the house, down the hall, under furniture, etc. An improvement I would like to see is a re-design of the on-off button. As it is, the button is integrated into the roof of the car, and can be tough for an adult to cycle power. A few times when the car would roll off the coffee table onto the carpeted floor, if it landed on its roof, it might power itself off if it lands just right (which is actually a good thing). I understand how a toggle or slider might not be a good idea for use with this track, as it could snag or hang up the car. Regarding the track, some things we learned: - When assembling the track, take care to carefully align the ends; haste can result in bent plastic. We were able to bend a couple ends back into shape; no harm no foul so far. - The track is slick on the bottom; if using it on a smooth surface, the track will slide around. This can actually add to the fun; we used our track initially setup on a coffee table in a carpeted room. The track held together well even after a few fun crashes to the floor. - On the carpeted floor, the track experiences less movement as the car races around. We like this toy a lot; our grand daughter kept us entertained for hours - literally. We engaged a couple sets of magnetic building block toys and built a bridge, created a figure-8, and had a blast with numerous ramps, hills, etc. As a result, we will be picking up some additional sets to expand the length of track, add some specialty pieces like bridges and criss-cross connectors, dinosaurs, accessories, etc. If not for the hair-entanglements and hard-to-use power button on the car, I would have given this product 5 stars.
