It's a little bit thicker than I was looking for, but is well constructed and cleans up fine.

Sturdy and a great value

This is an inexpensive, sturdy spatula. The working surface is made of a relatively heavy gauge stainless steel and it doesn't flex easily. It can support several pounds of meat or whatever without bending. I've only been using this for a month or so, but so far the wood handle and rivets seem solidly attached. I haven't noticed any signs of the wood shrinking, cracking, or loosening from the rivets. Just be sure that you don't leave them soaking in water as that might contribute to the deterioration of the handle. There are several different sizes available so be sure to check to see which size you really want. I debated between this and a slightly shorter one, but settled on the 13" model because the working surface is long enough to handle a decent sized fish filet without needing a second spatula. It's a little long for maneuvering around most round skillets, including my 14", but it's a perfect size for working on a large grill or griddle.
