Every one should install this

Wonderful valve to isolate the expansion tank for service or diagnostic. I added another shut off for supply so servicing components on the supply side is easy. Awesome product.

Double control Valve

Small residential use of a pressure expansion tank and pump. 3/4 inch inlets and outlets with male and female thread worked great with my application. Allows for garden hose connection in pump area.

Cannot be used with potable (drinkable) water supply!

Webstone in their infinite wisdom does not make a lead free version of this product (like they do with many of their other valves). As a result, this valve which would work wonderfully with an expansion tank on the cold water inlet of the water heater "is not safe to use as it contains lead." Very unfortunate. For non-potable (non-drinkable) water control, it would work just fine.

Not for retrofitting existing tank mounts

Seems well made, but note the "extra" inlet (at left in photo) makes this model inappropriate as a retrofit mount for a replacement tank in an existing system.
