Drying

I like the toning it did for my ice highlights, however, as other reviews have said…it did feel like my hair was dryer. But I just used my hair mask and it solved that! I may try the matching conditioner next. But in my experience the purple conditioners aren’t moisturizing enough. I have fine hair and this shampoo didn’t weigh down my hair. It’s definitely not your every day shampoo. I only use it once a week so it’s not a big issue for me that it’s not moisturizing.

Best purple shampoo I have ever tried and I have tried them all!

I am a “die-hard” platinum blonde for many years and I have tried every purple shampoo on the market almost and this is my absolute favorite. My favorite before this was shimmer lights because I loved the amount of Toning it did as well as the scent that seemed to last for multiple washes, however I was ready to try something new because literally the one downfall of shimmer lights is that it is very drying to the hair no matter how much you condition it afterwards. This stuff is amazing! Smells amazing, lathers amazing, the toning amount is awesome and even, AND it doesn’t leave your hair so dry. Absolutely love it!

works like a charm!

This product is fantastic. I am in the process of transitioning my hair back to grey and I had very blonde highlights put in the help with the root demarcation. The highlights turned brassy with a "greenish" tint after washing my hair with hard water for a few weeks. I applied this products for three minutes the first time and then another four the day after. My highlights are now back to being very light and my hair is not dry at all. I am very impressed!

Works beautifully for grey hair too!

I have loved Nexxus products for many years. But just discovered “Blonde assure” and use it once a week to take away any sun discoloration from my grey/white hair. It also leaves my hair silky. I use it with the matching conditioner. Highly recommended.

What does my hair look like?

My hair is not as curly as it usually comes out of the shower with my Dove shampoo. It is nice and soft, though.

It’s the authentic one
