Moisturizes fine hair without weight

This shampoo is a great value. I have very dense and fine hair that is about 6 inches past my shoulders. My scalp gets painful bumps if I use too much sulfate shampoo. Even Giovanni will break out my scalp after a few weeks. The roots can get oily fast, but the ends are a little rough because I haven't cut my hair in about 7 months. When I use this shampoo, I don't normally condition but put a little of the ogx coconut serum on the ends after brushing (much less tangles than other shampoos). I use a sulfate shampoo to get super clean and follow with conditioner once or twice a week. My only complaint is that the smell is very strong. You will smell like a perfumey pine cone. My husband likes it, but I think it is a little much.

Buy if You Have Severely Damaged Hair

Based on the ingredients and comments, I thought this would be a really great shampoo. Unfortunately, I found the shampoo to be extremely difficult to rinse out. My hair felt overly conditioned and slimy, and my naturally wavy hair was straight and flat. I would only recommend this shampoo if you have extremely dry, permed or color treated hair, or damaged or unruly curls that need major taming. It would be a good shampoo if you use a flat iron, since you won't need to use one with this shampoo. Just wash your hair and it can then be easily dried and straightened using a metal styling brush.

Leaves My Hair Silky Soft, Fuller and with a Healthy Shine

This Shampoo leaves my hair so soft, fuller, and with a healthy shine. Depending on how much hair you have, you might need to use a few pumps, but with some vigorous scrubbing it actually lathers up just fine with a normal amount.. it just takes a little while to get that thick lather. Some don't like the scent but I think its great! Will buy again, but may also try one of their other sulfate free shampoos, just to see which one I like best... But it'll be a while bc they give you a huge bottle for a fair price.

I am experiencing e lot less hair loss and breakage with Dove than I was with my old expensive "designer" shampoo.

Love this shampoo.

This shampoo was a shock to me. It actually does what it says it does. It is half the price of other shampoos I’ve bought. Get the shampoo and conditioner. Works really well on fine, thinning hair. Good for everyone in the family.

Smells good and thickens hair

I'm surprised at the reviews but it is a more manly scent. It does what is supposed to. I give it a 5 out of 5.
