Perfect for my sprained wrist

The Mueller 2-inch elastic bandage is perfect for my sprained wrist. I had a couple of larger Ace bandages with clips, but it was a tad large for my wrists. It was also kind of tough to put the clips on one-handed. I couldn't find the 2-inch Ace bandages, so I decided to try the Mueller. I also liked the idea of having a velcro enclosure for easier fastening. Right out of the box, I knew the bandage was perfect. The 2-inch size is ideal for wrists and ankles and the velcro is so much easier to use than sharp clips. The velcro isn't super freaky strong, but it's just enough to hold the bandage together. The bandage is soft and feels great on my skin. It has an antimicrobial treatment and can be hand washed in cold water and line dried. I highly recommend the Mueller 2-inch elastic bandage and I'll definitely order more if I need them.

Falls apart quickly

I would assume most people using a bandage like this will be doing so for at least a week. Good luck with that! I had a bad sprain that needed to be wrapped for several weeks and the bandage started to fall apart after only 4 or 5 days. Straight out of the package, I could tell the velcro adhesive wasn't going to last, but I needed the bandage right then so I could not send back. The velcro was held on by one line of stitching. It looked like a flimsy tear-away label. Within 5 days, that velcro was literally hanging on by 2 threads. By 7 days the velcro was no longer attached. I continued to use the velcro by just attaching like you would with the traditional metal clasps. It worked, but not too well. As you can see in the photo, the velcro slowly became warped. By 7 days, the bandage had definitely taken on a new shape and the end, as seen in the photo, was completely stretched out. It still served its purpose, but I am disappointed in the quality. I have used Mueller products in the past without issue. I have 2 of their thumb stabilizers that I LOVE and haven't had any issues. These bandages were just not on par with the quality I would expect from Mueller.

Comfortable support

Provides the right amount of support with convenience of velcro tab. Have been using for my foot and ankle following Achilles tendon surgery. Great product at a reasonable price. Delivered for promised date. Highly recommend.

Good purchase

I was a bit disappointed with the Velcro. That is the reason I bought it. It doesn't stay secure.

Good but velcro isn't perfect

The fabric is great, stretchy but strong and fairly soft on the skin. The "velcro" closure isn't well secured, and it is fairly stiff plastic so the edges/corners can catch on things if you aren't careful.

2" Mueller Sports Medicine was not adequate for wrapping the lower leg.

This bandage fell short of expectations after I attempted to wrap my leg below the knee. The 2" width was not well suited to wrap around the leg below the knee to the ankle. Because the two inch width required twice as many turns around the leg to create the same coverage as a 4" bandage, the length was not sufficient to wrap the entire leg. Since the bandage had a Velcro strip on just one end, I was forced to start with the plain end, wrap an entire round over the loose end to just make it stay in place. The narrow strips separated as I moved. I would recommend using only four inch wide bandages on legs.

great for a sore wrist!

This is an old standby for when my wrist is hurting from too much computer work. I wrap it around my wrist, then up around my thumb and back down my wrist. It gives just the support and relief that I need. Works every time. I always keep extras on hand. I order them from Amazon because I can't find them anymore at Walmart or my local drugstores.

Quality product

This Mueller bandage is well made. I was using a Tensor (3M) brand bandage on my ankle and needed to replace it and have found the Mueller bandage to be of somewhat tougher construction than the Tensor. I would recommend this brand if you're looking for a bandage that will stand up to a little more wear and tear.
