Very comfortable and a great Price

I use to use a old speaker to elevate my legs while sitting for hours playing video games and that worked pretty good. Sense I bought this foot rest WOW sitting for hours is so much easier! This can be adjusted to different heights. With sock on I can kind of massage my feet on this. Wow I dont know what I ever did with out this. I like it alot! I bought a plush foot rest for my wife and she loves it. I tried the plush one but I like this harder one better. Great product! Great price!

Serves pupose but not great

The foot rest would not stable and lock to position. I want something that locks on both tilt and downward pressure. Looks like this cannot handle tilt pressure properly.

The Right Stuff

Just the right underdesk foot rest I was looking for. I have an XL gaming chair that is meant for Big AND Tall people, but not just big people, so every time I sit normally with my back flush with the back cushion, the backs of my knees and the fronts of my thighs get squished against the padded front edge of the seat. I bought a cheap-o underdesk rest before to try and raise my legs up a little bit more so I can have my feet planted, but my knees slightly elevated during long sessions, but it was too short and didn't do much. Then I got this and it's adjustable to every sitting position I would want. From the images, it looks like you are able to adjust the front and rear height independently, but that's not the case. you have to raise both sides, but it has a built in swivel which is PERFECT because if I want to recline, I can just kick this thing further under my desk, pull it up from the sides with the edges of my slippers to raise the levels, and have it adjust to the right angle with the built in tilting. Only reason I rated this a 4/5 is that I wish the top of the board was something more rubbery and comfortable, the generic other one I bought had a thin layer of semi-soft rubber on the top and weather I was barefoot or with slippers/shoes on, that one was always comfy. This one is just a tiny bit uncomfortable keeping my bare feet in the same area, but with shoes/slippers, it's not too noticible.

One year review: Has some design flaws, broken after a year of use.

TL;DR; I got a year's worth of use out of it - so my observation is that I would have been better off spending similar money on a wooden foot rest. I would recommend the same to you. This plastic design has a few flaws. There are metal bars that support the frame that during use easily slip out of their intended positions, causing the unit to collapse under even a little wight from your legs. In the end, the thin plastic that supports the elevated position of the foot rest shattered. I do wish the unit was wider. I have to sit for long periods of time for work, and the width of this unit forces me to keep my feet together. This causes pain in my hips. Shifting to a wider stance with my feet helps, but the putting your feet on the outside edges of the unit puts torsional pressure on it that the plastic just cannot support. This was probably the root cause of the failure of my unit. For the money, Look to a Wooden or metal foot rest. This is cheaply made.

A Great Purchase

After a long day at work i like to unwind on my computer and resting my feet, just in socks on the foot rest is soooo relaxing. I slowy move my feet around and nobbly bits gently massage them. The footrest is adustable in both height and angle. The construction is of a hard and strong black plastic and appealing on the eye. I have large office chair and before purchasing the footrest my legs, feet and back would start to ache after a while but now after only a couple of weeks the aches and pains have gone. yaaaaaay for me

This really helps my legs and hips

It's perfect! Item was delivered quickly and was in perfect condition right of of the box. I love the adjustable height of the step stool. I use it under my desk at work and it really helps keep my back and hips aligned in my car for good posture support. Thanks so much!

Nicely designed and inexpensive foot rest

This footrest has a clever height adjustment and the top platform pivots. This might take some getting used to, but it allows you to rest your feet on the near side or extend your feet over to the far side. The all-plastic construction seems sturdy enough, but you can tell it's not as ruggedly made as the more expensive footrests.

Decent if you can get it to stay in place; slides backwards very easily due to the free tilting

The design is not bad. It's not very clear from the description but as many people said, it's a free-tilting foot rest. It's a nice feature for keeping circulation going and if you're a fidgeting person, but the lack of locking means you can't keep your feet in a restful position without effort if it doesn't work with gravity. My main issue with it was that it just kept sliding across the floor with every little movement until it hits the wall, by which point it's too far back for it to be useful at my desk. The rocking affects the round bars (makes them roll) and my laminate floor boards are evidently too slick for the rubber pieces at the end to get a good grip. If you have carpeting it won't be an issue, but for me it was unusable. The pedal at the front also got in the way of my chair sometimes--check the dimensions as well, the foot rest took up more room than I thought it would. I thought it was pretty sturdy, but I also only tried it out for half an hour. During that time I noticed that my feet were starting to feel a little sore from the bumps, too.

The manufacture need to add some grip on the bottom.

Nice and steady. The only issue I have with this product is that their is no grip on the bottom. Its sliding all the time which is very inconvenient when you are trying to focus on something.

Yeah don't buy this unless you want trouble walking

Because it doesn't stay level you get pain in your ankles. Not a good purchase at all.
