By far the best.

These straps are perfect! I have a little bit of trouble getting them through the fasteners while reaching up to the top of my SUV, but it honestly takes practice. Each time I put my kayaks up and secure them with these straps it’s gets easier. The neoprene cover is just an extra step to get used to, but it is SO worth is to protect the cargo from scratching and the fasteners from weather! I’ve had/used a lot of straps for my boats over the years and these are BY FAR the best.

Works OK

They are OK. My 3-start rating is because it is hard to thread the straps through the buckles. Once in place they work fine, but they are much harder to get started than others I have used.

Great for a workout!

I purchased these straps not to hold my canoe but to make some bargain priced suspension training systems. I looked at the big box retailers but could not find straps that were sufficiently load rated for what I wanted to do. These straps looked to have the best load rating. I have been very satisfied with my purchase, which in this case means that they have not broken and dropped my @ss on the ground;) I will buy another set to make more for my friends.

Could be better

It's a strap, and it works, and does protect the kayak from damage, but it is difficult to use. I am not hooked on the way it has to be fed through the plastic and the metal clasp in order to work. Standing in the rain while trying to feed the strap end through both pieces just seems like an unnecessary struggle. The Yakima straps I use on my kayaks are easier to feed through.

Strong and heavy duty strap

Great product and was as advertised. I used these heavy duty straps to help support my kayak on my roof rack. I have kayak saddles and I needed something tight and strong enough to resist the abrasives surface of the kayak while traveling with it on the roof. This was the perfect item and we'll worth it!

Straps are good.

Bought These for our kayak tiedown. The neoprene sleeve on the metal piece is up added bonus. It protects your vehicle if the buckle hits the paint job. The metal latches is of good quality. And our kayaks have stayed on our vehicle for over 5000 km.

Perfect and no car scratches

These are excellent for tying down my kayak and being able to toss over to the other side of roof rack without worrying about scratching your car
