Buy This if you Are Teaching a Dog the Ring Toss Trick!

I bought this to teach my 4 dogs:, 2 Labradors, a Papillon and a Toy dog mix, how to do the Ring Toss trick for the AKC Performer Trick Dog title. I chose this ring toss over others because of its soft composition; making it easier, more inviting and more fun for the dogs to pick up the rings. All of the dogs learned this trick quickly and well. I think is due, in large part, to the fact that I purchased this ring toss over others with hard plastic rings that are difficult to pick up, hold and see, when needing to place them on the post. The only problems I had were that the post is also lightweight since it is made out of the same materials... this makes it prone to tipping over. I often had a finger on the base to keep it upright as they placed the rings. Also, the post is removable from the base which didn’t happen often, but every once in awhile one of them would pull it out and remove it. I did not let them interact with the ring toss when we were not actively training or practicing the trick, but it was easy to clean off dog slobber and remained in like new condition through the four dogs use.

Well made, just what I was looking for.

This is a nice, well made soft ring toss set. It is perfect for teaching my dog to "play" ring toss (a very cute trick).

Fun Game

Takes some practice, but it is a lot of fun once you figure out not to throw too hard! Great for the kids to have something to do indoors.
