Finally found this unicorn…

Really dont know why this is so hard to find. I hate flare fittings in the first place. Heaven forbid you have an old flare fitting and valve and dont want to tear out your wall to replace it all with a new valve. There’s literally no valves with a female flare. So happy to have found this Unicorn!

Excellent and hard to find!

Lasco seems like the only company in existence that makes a female flare to male pipe fitting. I needed this to go from a male flare on a Lasco 90-degree ball valve to a female pipe thread on a quick-disconnect fitting. Probably didn't need the valve, but I don't trust the quick-disconnect to be a 100% leak-free seal, which it needs to be since 99% of the time there will be nothing connected to the quick-disconnect fitting (it's for an emergency generator). Anyway, this fitting worked perfectly and is much cleaner, more elegant, and safer than the cobbled together solution of multiple fittings that my local hardware stores were offering.

The flare end leaks. Clearly not a standard flare angle.
