It seems to be made out of some type of plastic.

I bought this for a customer to install it for her. I did not realise that it was made of a light weight material, plastic like stuff. It should be just fine though.

Lasco wall bracket.

I added a Jacklo hand spray to my shower via a diverter at the shower arm. My Jaklo kit was missing the wall bracket, so I ordered this wall bracket. I was a little worried that the handle may not fit properly with the wall bracket, but it fits perfectly, and the wall bracket has 2 positions to hold the hand shower; one is straight up vertical, the other position is somewhat a 45 degree angle. The polished brass finish looks good enough.

Did not work for my shower handle

I bought a wall mount shower set, but strangely the holder that came in the set was too small. I started to look for the largest one possible everywhere and after months of research I picked this one. Oh, well... this one was not large enough to hold the shower handle all the way. Only j the very bottom of the handle fits and it makes the shower to wiggle badly. The plastic looks like a metal and I like the look of it.

Good tool for shower head adjusted placement.

I purchased this to supplement my shower holder. I needed something a bit lower that where the shower head is normally placed for a shorter person and this works great. It was easy install and matched my shower head. There are two spaces where the hose can be inserted: one forward and one back.

it's not made of brass

The listing states this is made of brass, it is not. It's plastic with a brass color. There is no gasket to prevent water from getting behind and leaking into the screw holes in the wall.
