Has two plugs

If you are limited on outlets this is not the one for you. I love that it’s supposed to be waterproof but so far the quilted heated mattress pad I have is more comfortable and you don’t feel the wires as much with that one plus it has one plug so it doesn’t take up an entire outlet. This one does get very warm! I have not used it over a 2 and I am usually cold. I had an old sunbeam that had more heat at the legs and feet and less as it went up the body… wish this one did that as well. If you like to sweat or have trouble keeping warm this is definitely a great buy!!!! These have saved me so many times with fibromyalgia because once you get cold you take forever to warm up and this will bake you in an hour or so

works great and decent cord length

I got this for my father who is constantly cold. He usually sets it on temp 5 which is toasty. It needs to be started at least 15 minutes in advance to get up to temp and I usually increase the default 8 hours to 10. You can feel the wires with your hand but they are thin and only really noticeable when you are looking for them. I have a mattress pad covering it and it is comfy and does not make excessive noise when you move around on it. The cord is long enough so it can plug into an outlet at the head of the bed and the remotes have enough cord length to be able to put them on end tables next to the head of the bed. The controls are very light weight so I used a strip of surgical tape to help keep them from sliding off the end tables.

This is the best heated mattress pad!!

I have bought several of these. The most recent one I bought for my daughter who moved to a big city with harsh winters for college. She uses it nightly in the winters. I will buy continue to buy these.

Love it!

I’ve tried several heated mattress pads and have been the most pleased with this one. It gets warm really quickly and stays hot. I also like the timer feature and the split heating feature. I have a king sized bed and keep the half of the bed that my dog sleeps on unheated so she doesn’t overheat. That said, there are a couple downsides. The heating doesn’t seem very even. It’s mostly by my feet and my head, which is always covered by a pillow in 99% of sleepers so I don’t know why they didn’t move the hotter portion down by the shoulders more. Overall though I’m very pleased. I let it preheat while I’m getting ready for bed and it’s super relaxing to fall asleep in.

Works great

So far it works well. I only wish the control was lit. I often preheat the bed and don’t always turn the lights on in the bedroom. And it’s hard to see the on off button or the number u set it on. But it gets hot. So start out low. Or u will wake up sweating :)
