Great hat

I have tried a few other boonie hats but this by far is the best fit. Feels good on the head, the adjustment is easy and works well. It has velcro on front, back, and top. I only use the front patch area. Not really sure what you would put on the top of the hat. Well worth it.

Great sun hat

Took this on my recited five-day backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon. Worked well and stayed relatively clean even after a few days of hard use. Washed on cold when I got home and it looks as good as new.

Good

Has a drawstring to adjust head size, which is convenient, although the material bunches up a little and the band slips looser if you don't tie it right. The hat is good, has a security pocket and a space for two patches, which is nice.

Nice lid at a nice price

Heavy duty material with a drawstring at the back to make it "one size fits most". Little side vents for warmer weather but still feels hot on a hot day. Nice front velcro square for your favorite military or morale patch. Has "Tru-Spec" logo made into velcro square, looks cool with no patch at all. Velcro on the back for name strip and a small velcro square on top for blood type patch. Chin strap which I keep in back. Even has a map pocket on the inside top. Very nice boonie, if you like these style hats you'll love this one.

Awesome products I wear 7.75 in new era cap or XL Boonie SI and this one fit perfectly... I can wear my Bowman under without problems.

Fabulous quality: don’t buy ONE, buy TWO of them!!

Typical great TruSpec quality. I’ve got many TruSpec products in my closet and I’m super pleased with this hat. I particularly appreciate the One-size-fits- all approach since I’m often wearing hearing defenders under that hat especially for the sunniest days. I like the circumference ribbon/tape/ drawstring because it’s discreet (brown tan) and flat (like a ribbon) and does not take up volume/space. The chin string is very light and unobtrusive. Well done. The toggles work well and do not have that Zhinese brittle feel to them. I have other TruSpec contractor hats and their logo in the ‘loop’ velcro is very discreet, very well planned. The name tape velcro in the back is helpful for my clients to ID me on the firing line. I love this boonie hat. It shapes well, maybe that’s because of the water repellency treatment. Time to buy a second! LOL Be safe out there!!
