Traps air.

Do not reccomend if you have a bowl sink, like myself with no over flow holes. The cap has to small of holes that it causes air to be trapped and it will make your sink over flow. I had to drill holes in the small holes to make a lot bigger & it ended up haven't to just be cut out..

Does not drain well

This does not drain well at all. I have a vessel sink without an overflow (as this is stated to be intended for) and it would take a long time for water to drain out (about a minute). Bought a pop-up style drain and my sink now works fine. Wasted my money on this.
