Get it!!!!

If you’re a hat guy like me - sometimes you just know. THIS cap is one of those awesome ones that I will be wearing for a very very long time. The size L fits my bigger noggin perfectly, and you can cinch it down so it’ll stay put. Having worn the KAVU visor before on the trails, I kinda knew what I was getting with this non-convertible version. Seriously, this hat is on par with a good fleece pullover, some trusty nylon shorts, wool socks, and hiking sandals. Once you get it - you just get it! Also - my hat’s webbing band looked different than it did in the online pictures, as others have pointed out - but WHO CARES. if you’re that finicky about minute details like that, maybe you shouldn’t be wearing this kinda thing in the first place. Just sayin.

Get the smallest size you can find. I have a big head and this was way to big. Looks like a crumpled up bag. Get a dark color.

Tiny-headed folks, rejoice!

I have a small head. Not like microcephaly small or anything... it’s proportionate to my body. But still... normal hats don’t fit correctly. They’re always baggy in the crown or on the sides, and they typically just look ridiculous. Like I’m playing dress up. This hat in a size Small fits just right! It’s a shallow hat, but that works for me. The brim is long enough without looking comical. It’s flat and wide, and I bent a slight curve into it to provide proper coverage. Now it’s perfect. It has an adjustable strap, and I don’t even have to adjust it to the tightest setting! Yasss. This hat is lightweight, sweat-wicking, and best suited for outdoor activities. The prints are fun, too. They look like bad 80’s t-shirts. So basically, right up my alley. I highly recommend this hat for my teeny-headed friends. I’ll be buying more colors myself.

Best hats ever!!

I’ve been wearing Kavu hats for years now. I wear the synthetic strap cap literally everyday and it’s the only hats I’ll wear. I’ve tried wearing other caps and they don’t cut it and I go straight back to my Kavu. They are comfortable for all day comfort. They don’t fly off in the wind. They are light weight. They look great in an outdoorsy sort of way and they do what they are made to do. Literally no cons. I have all the other types of Kavu hats and I love em all. Just buy it! You’ll love it I’m sure

Stitching was off on the crown : /

Really love Kavu and their gear but the hat I ordered had a big issue with the stitching on the crown of the hat. Ended up exchanging for any other with a similar issue. Must’ve been a bad batch.

Black hat actually has GREEN strap not blue

Got the small size black strapcap, the hat I received is definitely not the one in the picture. The strap has bright green the in the parts of the pattern that are clearly blue in the picture. The fit is what I was looking for though, it's twice as shallow as most hats, which fits me well without covering my ears or needing to awkwardly tuck them in.

My son loves this cap.

bought as a Christmas gift for my 13 year old son. He loves the cap and wears it often. Only down side is there is still quiet a bit of strap that hangs out on the back after he tightens it to fit.

Mislabeled Hats?

First of all, the quality of the hat is great! That said, I ordered the "pyrite" color - khaki with a white band. I got a green hat with an orange band. I figured they accidentally sent the wrong color! I exchanged that hat for another, ordering pyrite again. The hat came, and it was green and orange again... So I tried one last exchange... Also green and orange. I just returned it for a refund rather than ordering again. The hat seemed really nice, but I could never get the color I ordered!
