MUCH better and (SAFER) than the shorter "Y Type" adapter cords.

I use my generators more than the average homeowner (jobsites and home use during power outages). While you may not use yours as often as I do, I've learned a HUGE difference between this cord and the shorter "Y Type" adapter cords. First of all, everyone knows that to get the full output of your genie, you have to use BOTH the 110v AND 220v sides. All adapter cords are NOT created equal !!!!! That said: Using the short, "Y" adapter forces you to battle voltage drop all the way from your gennie to the tool/appliance. Not a problem with this cord...... Everything ran better and with more power (pun intended) the instant we started using it. We run our higher power drain items (table-saws, etc.) on this (the 220 side) cord, and the lower draw items on the 110v side.. Everyone's happy, all the time! If that isn't enough to justify buying it, think about THIS: You can now move your gennie 25' further from your work station WITH VIRTUALLY NO NOTICIBLE VOLTAGE DROP (on the 220v cord). Quite frankly, The better you can hear your co-workers on the job site, the safer EVERYONE is (and happier). :-)
