Current favorite!

A really good boot sock option! Feels comfortable and fits around the calf well (my Under Armor ones feel much too tight) and stays up. My only complaint is that they look like they've gotten snagged up pretty quickly, there are little threads sticking up along the tube portion and I haven't worn or washed them much. Overall highly recommend them!

Check the shipment for the corect content

I love the socks so I ordered three (3) more pairs of over the calf socks but I did not check the shipment when it arrived. Instead of three (3) pairs of over the calf I was shipped 2 pairs of over the calf and 1 pair of calf length. The socks are great the shipping not so much.

Best boot socks ever

I own 12 pair of these socks. I purchased my initial four pair at a military clothing sales store in 2015...and still wearing them DAILY. They have yet to wear through the heels like most socks I've owned, nor have they lost their elasticity in the uppers. They still stay up and over my calves even when hiking. I'm just worried Fox River will discontinue them! Plan on buying more just in case. Spend the money...you will not regret it.

Favorite socks

Tough socks that fit well and go over the calf so they never fall down even as the elastic ages. Amazon says I last bought them over 5 years ago so I'm surprised at the life I got out of them. My shoe size is 8 1/2 (that's a Chinese size 9 or 10) and the medium socks fit perfectly up to my knee, so if you aren't sure, get the smaller size.

Comfortable socks but …

Like others that have reviewed these socks, I’m also having the same problem with boots eating them up quickly. I know they have a life time guarantee, and I’ll likely use that once they tear up. Sad too because I was hoping these would outlast Darn Tough, which is the brand I’ve used for over a decade now - they last! So Fox River, if you read this, please look into the military socks. The shin part of the socks gets chewed up very easily and so does the heel. I’ll keep wearing mine till they fail though.

Lasted me through Ranger

Bought a couple of these to wear for my work in uniform. I figured I had enough of the GI socks and decided to take the Fox River pill. Lasted me through countless miles of rucking and a couple of walks through the swamps. Prevented me from blistering as expensive boot socks usually do, and these haven’t even begun to fray. They feel comfortable when soaked, and don’t need any special treatment or anything to wash. They still feel almost good as new and these come with a lifetime guarantee from Fox River.

Comfort level socks

I purchased these socks for comfortability and man they were just that! I have owned these socks for almost 6 years and will continue to purchase these socks as they are perfect for all military and tradesmen workers. I am military and these socks perform well in a mechanic industry.

I bought a large pair because I'm a size 10 on the advice of another reviewer, they fit perfectly , didn't want to take them off. Not been out in them yet , I will add more info at a later date .

They're thick, they last, and the compression is reassuringly solid.

I didn't order more pairs of these because they wore out. I ordered more because they *didn't.* There's real quality here. I'm 5'9" (175.26 cm) and about 160 lbs. 9-9.5 shoe I take medium in these. I'm not muscular and these stay up, very comfortably, with a nice firmness. I average 6500-9000 steps a day at work. sometimes more, in both winter shoes (rated to -30 below C) and regular leather office/work shoes. These hold up to my needs really well.

Warmest sport socks

These are my go-to for the very cold winters. I have not been cold with these and my winter boots or ski boots. They fit me perfectly at a size 9 foot. I would not recommend them for daily use, unless you're always cold, because I get too warm in the house in these. They go right up to the bottom of my knee cap so are also not as easy to put on as my typical socks. These would be my favourite pairs of socks due to how they keep me so warm in even -30 C. I wear flannel-lined pants in the extreme cold and these negate the need for long underwear. Awesome and seem to last very well.

Amazing! Comfortable!

Where have these pair of socks been!?!?! They are amazing. Comfortable with boots. I wear them with my Dan Post Western Boots. Love it! Comfortable. Stays up and does not fall. Wow!

Very happy!

Bought these socks before and lasted about three years. I wear gumboots most of the time and these socks out perform my expectations. Love them!
