It stayed on

I put these therapy patches onto some tender sites recovering from surgery, and... I can't say they worked. I can't say they didn't work. They mostly just stayed on my foot, unobtrusive. It both felt better and felt worse during the week I tried these. The therapy patches say it takes at least 30 minutes to start feeling an effect and are most noticeable 12-48 hours after application. Okay, but... I also rested my foot at that time? And iced it? Elevated it some? It's hard to say WHAT made my foot feel better. I know that when driving with one of these across my ankle, the ankle started aching intensely. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the patch, but the patch was on day 3 of wear, so it should have been at its most potent, right? If FIT therapy works for you, these are probably good patches. They adhered well, even on joints, even through multiple showers. They didn't soak up and hold onto water, they didn't start peeling up at the edges, and when I did take them off, they didn't leave any residue or unpleasantness behind. The skin seemed healthy, unlike under a plastic bandage for the same amount of time, and I didn't have any reactions, which was unusual for me (I react to a lot of adhesives). I just don't know if they actually HELPED.

Smaller patches

I got these patches for my husband who has on and off issues with his back. As you can see in my picture these are a little bit smaller patches so they weren’t great for his size, he’s 6‘3“ and 225 pounds. He did wear the patch now for a couple days and said it did seem to help but he does prefer a patch that has some heat to it, these do not (although it does say that they’re non-heating). He felt if the patches were a little bigger for his size they may work a little better. There are small round patches too for small spots, such as the knee or elbow. The patches are really thin so he said you almost forgot you have them on. They were a little hard to peel off because they are so thin but they did stick very well once on. It says each patch last up to five days.

Work okay, maybe don't last as long as noted

These therapy patches are very easy to apply, they are definitely on the smaller side. I used these for some back pain and I do think they provided some relief. I think most of that relief was within the first few hours of putting the patch on though. I think these are best for minor aches and pains, and not something more serious. Overall, they are worth a shot if you are dealing with some sore muscles.

Did nothing for me

So for me I didn't notice a change. I tried on my neck and my back. You get 6 patches. 3 circles and 3 rectangles. They are pretty small! They are easy to apply and stick really well! it's easy to move your body with these on they are very thin.

Easy to use!

These patches are very easy to use. They are super thin, has no smell, stick to the skin nicely and flat and won't roll up. You feel like nothing in and they won’t restrict movement or irritate skin. They are also very easy to remove and did not leave any residue at all. Once peel off, they loose its adhesiveness and you won't be able to reattach them to the skin, so do not peel it off to adjust unless you want to remove them. I used them in my lower back and I think it did help with the pain.

Rectangles Smaller Than I Expected. Strangely Effective

I honestly don't know how these "far infrared" patches work or whether they cause a placebo effect; however, I felt improvement, even forgetting that the patch was there. The patch stayed in place for three days, through showers and exercise, and started to curl up a little at the edges on the fourth. It can definitely stay attached for the advertised five days. I had wanted to place one on my hip, about the only joint NOT mentiioned in the directions. The two rectanglular pieces are much smaller than I anticipated, making that application a bit tricky. But I figured if they were big enough to work on the lower back, I'd give one a shot. The pain relief seems mostly to work on upper layers of tendons and muscles and not always deep in the joint. In my case, maybe because I applied it to my hip, the patch didn't seem to fully work until 24 hours after application. Since then, I've been able to sleep without any pain. Of course, it could be coincicdence. During the day, I'd say the placebo effect would be a possibility, but not at night. I would recommend anyone with joint or muscle pain giving these patches a shot, especially since they are drug-free and waterproof. They have no scent, and they offer good range of motion even during exercise. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Easy to apply

These patches are simple to apply and remove. They aren't very thick, so you really don't notice they are there and they have no odor. Make sure you place them where you want them,because they will not stick back to your skin very well. I tried these over a few days in different areas of my body. They worked okay, but not enough for me to keep using them.
