I love these jeans.

They are a little large on me because I’m just an in between size, but they have a great feel.

Servicable denim

I washed these twice before wearing because of the dark color and the dye still transferred to my tan suede boots. They fit pretty well but after wearing for some hours do get a bit loose/baggy in butt. They are a good jean to wear to work as the look professional - not a “date night” denim for me.

Love these pants!

I have a pair of “rinse” which is a dark blue color that I absolutely love. My black pair must be of a different fabric. My cat’s fur clings like crazy on the black pair but can easily wipe the fur from the blue pair. Other than that, my favorite jeans. Hated paying the price but sometimes, you get what you pay for. These were about 40% less than their website. Just need to keep checking back on Amazon for a good deal. They wash beautifully and I hang them up the dry. They fit just below my ankle (petite length) and love the slim (not skinny) cut.

Pants legs were far from straight legged and closer to bootcut width

A Bit Tight, Pricey, and Too Long, but Great Look

These NYJD petite jeans are very good even though I did have to shorten them a bit because I am even shorter than the petite sizes. I have always liked this brand because of their flattering fit on my stout, aging body. The jeans were too tight in the waist when I first put them on, but they stretched out and now fit even after a washing and drying, so I’m satisfied. When I saw them on Amazon, I really wanted them. I’m very pleased with them, and I am glad that I bought them in spite of their higher prices.

Perfect length, waist fit comfortably, and the color was as expected.

Fit not as described

I have two other pairs of jeans, same brand, same name, same size but purchased elsewhere. I thought these would be the same as I really like the way the others fit. These are not straight leg jeans but more slim and tighter; also longer even though they are petites and I’m 5’5”. They should fit— haven’t worn them because I’ll need to shorten them.

Expensive Jeans which don't fit well

Bought a size down as suggested but still too large and too long even the petite ones so had to return. This said they are nice and soft jeans but nothing special that you cant get at M&S !
