Very narrow boot cut

I usually love NYDJ jeans, but these are a disappointment. I tried them on upon receipt and they feel and look as expected. I paid no attention to the leg width. I ordered a size 6Petite. These jeans are 34" long, apparently in anticipation of them being worn with 3" heels. I needed to hem them 2 3/4 inches for my short legs. The result was a pair of straight leg jeans. This boot cut is only 15" at leg opening. After hemming, they are 14". My other boot cut jeans are 17" after being hemmed slightly. They've been washed so there's no returning. I will just have to hem them a bit shorter and call them straight leg.

I would not call these boot cut. They’re more like a straight leg. I returned them.

BUY THESE JEANS!!

I am loving these jeans!! They fit so perfectly and are very comfortable!! The length is perfect to wear with a flat or a small heel for me. For reference I'm 5'4" 170lb. And normally wear a 10 short in jeans, I did as the sizing said and ordered down a size to 8P and they are a perfect fit!! Don't hesitate, definitely buy them!!

These jeans fit like a glove!!!

I travel quite a bit and need a couple pairs of jeans that I can pull out of my suitcase that will dazzle my companions. They look and feel like a million bucks - never could say that before about a single manufacturer. I will buy them again and again.

Poor quality & fit different after washing

I used Amazon Prime Wardrobe; cudos to Amazon for a wonderful way to clothes shop. With that said, I picked the 8p as I've gained a little weight and the 6p's were just too tight in the waist. However, after washing, the pants stretched out, so I made the wrong decision. The material is not the quality they used to be. I really don't think they're worth $106 anymore. When you open the package, be warned there is a strong chemical smell. After washing, that goes away. Also, they are a real lint-catcher. Terrible. So unhappy with my choice. I just assumed NYDJ's had kept the quality of days gone by. They did not. I also paid another person to take in the legs, as I have smaller legs than normal. Knees were baggy after 4hrs of wear. The integrity of the jean changed after washing. I would not buy NYDJ again. They were the best jeans I owned a few years ago & just assumed they still would be.

For the price I was disappointed.

Not what I expected at all elastic band OK way over a navel sit at the buttocks other than that it didn’t look very nice. Did not send them back. Will use them to hang around the house.

Right size, too small

I've taken size 2 in NYDJ for ages. These were sized very differently despite having the same size number. Also the fabric? very thin - really, not denim. I used to love NYDJ, have been loyal to the brand for probably 15 years. They used to be made of a high quality stretch denim. Sturdy. They have consistently dropped in quality year over year. Better to go to a brick and mortar store and check on the label if they were made in the U.S. That's or at least it used to be assurance of a better quality. Now they are made in the U.S. in Mexico and China (I don't know where else) and you are stuck with the luck of the draw online. The ones I got were made in Mexico and did not have the awful smell that someone else commented about. Hope this helps
