Good quality, looks nice, completes prep sink!

This fits my houzer sink like a glove. There's no reason for a less than favorable review, really. It's good quality think plastic. It's supposed to fit inside the sink, not hang over it. I've always used my prep sink to catch peels and trash as I prepare food, then I had to reach in and clear it out to toss in the trash. This serves awesomely to just catch all the trash and easily take it out. In addition to being a good size, sturdy strainer.

Great strainer

I love this colander. It fits nicely in the 20% section of the Houzer sink that I bought. I bought it specifically for straining fruits and vegetables while or after I have washed them. It's great for rinsing and for catching tops of strawberries, potato and carrot skin among other things. I have also found it nice to rinse things while the the big side of the sink is being used for something else. I highly recommend it.

The whole point of ordering this was I thought it hung on the sink to keep water out of it. It sits in the sink and is raised up maybe a quarter inch. Worthless. I use my regular round colander instead.

I purchased this with a triple sink and it is great - the only problem is remember you need to wash it every so often or it gets cruddy.
