Arrived filthy, but issue addressed and fixed by manufacturer

The filter looked like it was from a fire sale, covered in a sooty film. After wiping it with a paper towel, it was obvious the filth was under the plastic film as well. Follow up to this review. The manufacturer reached out to me and assured me that this was not how they ship out their filters. They were very reassuring and helpful and I will definitely be ordering directly from them in the future. Five stars!

great whole house filter

This filter is great for my whole house filter system, lasted for a little over a year and really like my water now!

Good filter for whole house filtration system.

Good filter. Bought it to go with my whole house 3-stage water filter, to use in combination with a sediment filter and iron reducing filter. When we moved into our new house, our well water was nasty and didn't smell good. After testing the water, the water turned out to be safe, but just had a lot of minerals and impurities in it. I was skeptical about the ability of a filter to clear it up, but it did the job. Water is crystal clear and has no odor. The filters have been installed for 3 months now, and show no sign of slowing down, I have not had to replace them yet. Water quality and pressure is still good. Highly recommend this filter, when used with conjunction with other filters. You'll at least want to have a sediment filter before this filter to lengthen the life of this filter. For the filter system I used, look for the Home Master HMF3SDGFEC Whole House 3 Stage Water Filtration System.

What we drink matters!

We installed our home filtration system over a year ago and needed to replace the filters. The old ones were definitely dirty so I’m glad we have it on our whole house water supply.

Amazing

I live in DC, the water normally tastes like you're drinking from a swimming pool filled with dirt, metal, and other gross things. This makes all of the water in the house taste like it just came out of a bottle. I change approximately every 6 months or when the hot water starts smelling like chlorine again
