I was cooking dinner for a friend and mentioned that my knives needed to be sharpened but I wasn't very good at using a sharpening rod. He claimed to be VERY good at sharpening knives and proceeded to take the edge off every knife in my full set of Henckels. I considered taking them to Williams-Sonoma to be professionally sharpened but was leery of the consequences that could come from carrying a dozen knives into the local mall. I decided to give this Henckel sharpener a try and am quite impressed with the results. Using only the minimum number of swipes recommended in the instructions my knives are remarkably sharp again.

I've tried several of this type sharpeners. Some are just OK, but this one really works as advertised. I get a keen edge on all my knives with just one firm pass through. A few bucks more than most similar sharpeners, but well worth the extra bucks!!

Great Product works really good, DO NOT USE for kitchen Scissors it messes them up and they wont cut right after. Learned the hard way lol. but knives It works amazingly.

This is the best knife sharpener I have had in a long time. Very easy to use, very easy to store (perfect for you large knives drawer). I sharpened all my knives as soon as it was delivered, it has been a couple of months and my knives are still laser sharp! Awesome product, really!

A blunt knife is a dangerous implement!

Works great, my kitchen knives had suffered for a long time from a worn out sharpener. Keep a steady even pressure when drawing the knives through the sharpeners but do not push down hard. Let the sharpener do the work.
