Description of scent

I'm writing a review to give my best description of the scent as that was the most important determining factor to me. The scent is pleasant... and the best way I would describe it as is potpourri, it's citrusy and sweet and tangy. I'd also describe it as the taste of raspberry lemonade. Raspberry is the dominant scent... I was afraid that orange would overpower it, but it doesn't. In terms of cleaning power, I really like it... my dog looks brighter after his baths, and it's the first dog shampoo I've used where a little goes a long way. I used 2 dime sized amounts on my frenchie who is considered a small/medium size dog, and the shampoo created a lot of suds and I didn't have to use half the bottle like other brands I've used in the past. I definitely think that it warrants the price due to this. Overall, it's a great dog shampoo... the scent is okay if you like candy/potpourri smells.

My dog smells AMAZING!

This has such a great smell! The deshedding loosens all the under hair so they will seem like they are shedding more right after their bath but after a couple of brushings shedding is reduced greatly. My dog has sensitive skin and does not have any problems with this shampoo at all.

Smells great, doesn't quite "deodorize" them

I love the scent. It definitely made our dogs way less stinky but I suppose there's no getting rid of the "dog" smell for good. They were very clean and soft though

Smells nice and it has a thick consistency not watered down I love it for my pomeranian puppy.

Great dog shampoo, smell doesn't last long

I have two dogs, one pitbull and one pitbull-anatolian shephard mix. The shephard mix has longer hair, and he sheds quite a bit. This shampoo helped to neutralize his smell, and the shampoo smelled really good, but I didn't smell it after an hour or so, where most shampoos stay in his hair for a day or two. I love Hempz as a brand, and this is still a great product, but I wish the smell lasted longer.
