My dogs are passive aggressive and this thing scares the crap out of them UNTIL they really want something. Suddenly their fears dissolve and I have bell ringing nekkie boys!

My dog was scared of it

I was hoping to train my dog to use this button for when she wants to go out. She is already house-trained and usually hovers near the door if she needs to do business. I tried using the bell mode at first, but the bell is really loud and long. Since my dog was scared, I tried switching to a voice recording of me saying "outside??" but I think she was already too scared from the loud bell noise. She never used it and even had a couple accidents.

I really love this thing.

Bought this for our new puppy to help her learn to go outside for potty. I recorded the word outside on it and placed it near the door. Every time we go outside with her, I push the button, and she knows when I do that it's time to go out. So far she hasn't learned to push it, but hopefully over time she will. I do recommend you try this.

Good Quality and Value

The quality and value of this produce were good. It is easy to record a sound. The volume is a loud enough to be useful but not too loud. My dog has yet to push it on its own but we are still training with the button every time we go outside. Hope she will catch on soon.

Very loud buzzer scares dog!

My 3 yo Havanese is potty trained and whines in front of patio door when she wants to go use her special patio box. I thought this would be preferable to whining. It seems well-made and is certainly reasonably priced. The problem is the buzzer sound is so loud, offensive, and startling that it scared the poor pup and now she is afraid of the door. There is an option to record your own voice, which is a nicer, gentler option. However, the voice comes out quite soft, so it doesn't scare her like the buzzer but it also isn't loud enough for me to hear it unless I am close by. Am returning.
