This grill is good but definitely not for a family of 5.

Do not like the fact it has no temperature dial. I do Italian sausage, chicken, wieners and anything else I want cooked nicely and easily

You can't wash the grills

I am a little surprised after using the grill that you can't wash the grills. They are permanently attached. It seems pricey to throw away a 60$ grill every time it gets dirty, but mine is already starting to smell a bit like burning oil when I turn it on. It never occurred to me to check on this because the idea that you can't take off the parts and wash them seems crazy. Why would you make something that comes into contact with grease and oil that you cannot disassemble and wash? Not that it matters much, the grill works well. But there is now a constant smell of burning oild when I plug it in and oil on the top grill ran down and go into the cracks there too. It really unacceptable that something like this wouldn't come with a warning that reasonable normal household maintenance cannot be performed. I fell really cheated and ripped off. I don't feel I am going to get more than a couple of months from this before it's too dirty and I have to throw it away for sanitary reasons. And oil can drip down if you store it correctly. and since you can only wipe the cooking surfaces, they are always greasy and soon the entire unit is covered in greasy fingerprints.
